Always a great experience at the Orchard. Probably our favorite place in the Catawba, Marblehead, Port Clinton area. We had the chicken lollipops, charcuterie board, 8oz filet Oscar style, asparagus, and baked potato. The filet was a perfect medium rare. Lots of variety on the charcuterie board. It changes regularly. Also enjoyed a bottle of Caymus with our meal. We were there on a Wednesday when they do half off bottles of wine. The only catch is they need to be under 100 and the Caymus was not. Our server was upfront about that stipulation but if I had a complaint that would be it. It would be nice to see the discount across the board.
Forgot to snap some pictures of our food, however, this is a definite MUST try!!! Beautiful setting, our server Tom was so fun! He gave us a little back story about the bar/restaurants on the property! Definitely can't wait to stop back out to try their farm stand and coop!! When you stop, you have to try the whipped feta and hot honey starter!!!! It was AMAZING!!!! Also, I thought the idea of them having a FREE shuttle to and from them in the summer was awesome!
We visited on Sunday for brunch. Dan / Daniel was our server and he was phenomenal. He accommodated our wants and needs in a very professional manner. I would definitely request him on my next visit. I had the pear martini and it was delightful. For appetizers I recommend the honey feta dip and beef carpaccio. Since they rebuilt the restaurant, the atmosphere is absolutely stunning. They have bee keeps, a chicken cage, birdhouses, orchards and beautiful landscaping all throughout the premises. It’s a lovely place to hangout during the day on a Sunday. We played cornhole and listened to live music at the back bar after lunch.
PAY TO PARK Very roomy. Tables and booths were generous with space at the table and at the booths. It was 1010 outside with open patio concept walls and the temp inside was a comfortable 750. The bathrooms had a narrow hallway. Which will be hard for wheelchair maneuvering to get in, but very clean and spacious bathrooms.
We got sat right away on a Saturday for dinner. We ordered delicious food and walked around the big restaurant to see its beautiful atmosphere and it had four fire places and great views outside.
We heard about this place but never imagined how nice it is. We went for brunch. Bloody Mary bar and mimosas. Breakfast food, soup, salad and sandwiches. Service was great. Food was wonderful. We will go back
We were visiting the area and stopped in for breakfast at the Farmstand. I had the Pebble Beach breakfast and my husband had the sausage gravy. Both of our meals were very good. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Lots of areas to slip off from the crowds and talk. We enjoyed watching the chickens and roosters for a while. Really hope to come back again for some live music.
We were visiting out of town and heard great things about the food. When walked in with our 4 young children, at first I was frighten it seemed way to fancy for kids to be attending. I was afraid of my kids not behaving. The entire staff made us feel at ease and welcome. Even the management made a point to sit at the table and talk to us even recommended some things to do which I'm glad we got to see the light house! The food was amazing! I had the orchard salad and half chicken. Which all melted in my mouth. The glaze on the chicken was delicious and so unique! My husband got the pork chop and it didn't disappoint! The drinks were also good. The entire experience was great! Would HIGHLY recommend!
